Hi! I have been a nanny since 2006 and babysat all through grade school and college. I have loved every minute of it as children are so vibrant and inquisitive. I have watched children of all ages, infant and up, and have a fun-loving/laid back style of child care. I use guided exploration, whether it is music, crafts or physical as a means of activities and learning. Music is usually playing in the background, where the genre changes daily and impromptu dance parties are common. I love doing crafts that are based on seasons and holidays and try to incorporate found objects around the house or in nature. Some of these crafts are edible and involve baking, which I have found kids love! Outings are also near the top of the list, whether it is a trip to get ice cream, play at the park, or finding treasures on a Read more walk. I am looking to provide childcare in my home along with my adorable and sassy 19 month old daughter. I am flexible on days and time but would like for my weeks to generally look the same.
