Hello! I grew up as the oldest of 3 girls, and quickly gathered up the skills to take care of children. I was babysitting by the age of 12 and eventually took my skills to foreign countries where I taught English in Indonesia and Vietnam and worked at an orphanage in Vietnam as well. In Australia, I spent 4 months as a live-in nanny for a 2-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy. We spent our days learning through nature and books and learning life skills daily. We cooked, cleaned, explored, researched and enjoyed life. I took great pride in what I did as a nanny and am looking to feel that pride once again. My favorite aspect of being a nanny is the relationship that is formed, and the responsibility it entails. Today I work Full Time in the infant/toddler room at Here We Grow Learning Center and LOVE IT Read more everyday. I am also taking classes towards my Early Childhood Education Degree.
