I am the mother of two boys. I have worked in several daycare, babysat, and was raised in a foster home. I began as a mother's helper at the age of 9 after taking babysitting courses through the Red Cross. I have over 25 years experience working with children. I have over 16 years experience working with children with disabilities (my 16 year old has high functioning autism). I have experience with asthma, allergies (including food), and other issues that may occur. One thing I am trained in is Safe Sleep. I have had extensive training in abuse. I will not hesitate to keep a child safe. Any child I care for will be treated as my own. They will be served healthy snacks and meals. There will be times where we will do crafts, sing, dance. I believe that children need plenty of fresh air and outside time. I Read more also believe that children need down time to rest. As a future teacher (i am currently in school) I also understand the importance of a good education.
