Growing up in a big family there was always lots of work to be done which I did lots of house cleaning,cooking/baking,ect. I have always had a love for children and was so happy when all my nephews and nieces were born and I was able to baby sit and spend time with which I loved a lot! I also had the opportunity to live in Jamaica for 9 1/2 yrs.and be involved in a foster home and also in a childrens home setting taking care of lots of children who didn't have parents or who's parents weren't involved in their lives.I have watched a number of Dr.Karyn Purvis' videos on ways to help children, also have experience In potty training and box braiding/cornrow braiding black children's hair which I love to do! I love kids and feel fulfilled when I'm involved in a child's life knowing they need me to Read more meet their needs as they grow and mature. I have recently completed an online first aid and infant /child cpr training course.
