While in college and for several years after graduating college I worked as a nanny, a babysitter, a tutor, and provided care for a child with special needs. I have worked with all ages from newborn to middle school. I have also worked with teenagers at my church youth group. My nanny positions included pick up after school, homework help, housework, snacks and meals, running errands, facilitating play dates, and occasional overnight care. My babysitting positions were usually evening and weekend care while the parents were gone. Basic playing of games, snacks/meals, and bedtime. My tutoring position was with a boy with autism. The child I took care of with special needs had cerebal palsy. I would do all the basics in care for him plus special exercises to help his body develop and function better. I graduated with my degree in dental hygiene. I have worked both full time and part time as a dental hygienist, but have stepped away and only work as a fill in hygienist now. Therefore, my dental hygiene work is infrequent, and I would love to go back to doing something I truly enjoy. Through being a dental hygienist, I do have my CPR certification.

I am a 22 year old registered behavior technician. I work with children on the autism spectrum, so I have daily experience working with children ages 2-14 on the spectrum. I have worked with children who are nonverbal, to children with severe behavioral problems. I will be starting my masters program in Applied Behavioral Analysis in August.
