Hi! A little bit about my work experience! I have been working with children pretty much my whole life! From a young age, I’ve babysat my younger siblings, cousins and neighborhood children. I have worked in camps, volunteered in youth groups and kids ministry, and spent years working in the YMCA children’s programs. As well as a nannying position for 2 years during my Associates, as well as recently, for nearly a year as a live in position as well! I am a college grad with a Christian Ministry degree in Biblical Justice, and still have a great passion and love for kids that I hope to put into use in whatever career or ministry setting I find myself in, through helping vulnerable children, women and families walk through difficult seasons, partner alongside nonprofits agencies to advocate for health, education, trauma informed care and holistic care for all people.

While I am new to babysitting, I do have experience as a preschool assistant teacher where I facilitate child led learning during the school year and summer program. I am very well versed in coming up with tons of activities and crafts to keep kids entertained and engaged (especially without screen time!). Most of my childcare experience has been with ages 4-7, but I do have multiple younger siblings and cousins I have babysat in the past that were older! I’ve worked with a wide range of personalities, and I find it easy to adapt to the children and their interests as needed- I’m also very patient with them too. I’m really passionate about helping kids learn, and helping kids in general, and I am so grateful for any opportunity to gain experience in the field as I work towards my long term career goals. I can help with cooking, tidying up, homework, and laundry as well if needed! I have my own car too, and I am certified in First Aid and CPR as well.

Hello, I am a veteran child care provider with over 10 yrs experience. I have provided quality care for children in various settings such as daycare, school and home to children ages infant to 13yrs old. My focus has been with special needs children in Bedford & Rutherford co. Schools but not limited to. Currently, I provide after school care for a 6 yr old boy that I had also nannied when he was ages 2-3. As a nanny I provided full child care as well as light cleaning and meal prep for the family.
