My name is Dana and I have been working with children for over 6yrs. I love outdoor activities, music, crafts, legos, science experiments, reading, baking, and animals! In high school I helped teach children's church, Sunday school and did music with the children. In 2012 I began working with Cleveland City Schools after school program and worked my way up to be a Site-Director. I have also worked as a substitute for a daycare and occasionally worked for a company in Georgia and stayed with children who do not have a placement in the foster care system. I have worked with children who's ages range from newborn to 16 years old. I also have experience working with children who have ADD, ADHD, and different forms of Autism. Part of my job duties for the after school program included planning crafts, and helping children with their homework. During my time at Read more Lee University I studied Early Childhood Education and did many observation hours at different schools in Cleveland! I am also a Nurse Assistant and currently work in a Hospital. I am certified in BLS for healthcare providers and CPR.
