I was a teacher at a private school called Ruskin Christian, back in Tampa Bay. I moved here 3 years ago to be closer to family. I have early childhood development certifications, and have been DCF background checked (FL), along with having current CPR and First Aid training. I have an art background, can swim, have a current and valid drivers license with a safe driving record and am not at all pet shy. I have a few adventures up and will be adding more. I generally interact and play with the kids, whether it's an adventure outside of your home or one at home. I like taking kids outside to play, or go on walks. If I get to know your family well, and you are comfortable with it, I love taking kids to nearby parks, and trails to explore. My art background also means your kids will probably do crafts with me at some point too! I'm not just a young college kid looking for quick cash. I'm a professional and responsible adult. I have years of experience juggling hectic schedules, food, fun, hydration and the most important thing, the overall safety of your kids. This makes my fees a little higher than an average babysitter, but I am more than happy to negotiate for less, if your needs are less. I also work part time and remotely, for a pediatric office here in Ooltewah. This should never interfere with my childcare work, but should add to why you want to hire me.
