I was a nanny for 6 years to a family that's become my family. I love them all like I love my own. Since the youngest was born with a heart condition, I became familiar and comfortable giving daily medications, giving her shots, feeding tubes and therapies, doctor appointments, etc.,. Of course, all the fun stuff, too...ball practices, dance practices, games, recitals, swimming, parks, vacations, picnics, rainy day snuggles, breakfast in bed, shopping trips, goin to the co-op...everything! They, along with my nieces, are the biggest pieces of my heart! We're all family. It wasn't just a job...It was 6 years of my life that flew by WAY TOO fast! I was just recently with a family for a little over 18 months caring for a little boy since he was 5 weeks old. Again, the time passed too quickly, and he grew way too fast! The parents decided about Read more a month ago to put him in daycare, which is great for children his age. It was difficult, but I know he's loving spending time with friends and learning new things every day. I'm starting classes in a few weeks (4/24), and would love to continue caring for some sweet lil one(s), if our schedules can match up! I'll be available every weekday after 3, and if you need help on the weekends, we can work that out, too! I hope to hear from you, soon!
