Hello! My name is Carolyn Ives and I live in the North Knox area! My husband and I have been here for a little over a year now and have absolutely fallen in love with this city and its people. Throughout high school and college, I nannied when I wasn’t in class or in the pool (collegiate swammer). Caring for my kids, helping them with homework and experiencing life through their eyes made my days at school so much brighter. I lifeguarded in the summers when I wasn’t nannying so up until 2018, I was fully CPR and Frist Aid certified through both Red Cross and the YMCA. My certs are no longer up to date (they are very expensive to maintain) but, as I’m sure you know, those skills never really leave you— especially when you’ve had to put them to use in real life.
