I love being a sitter because spending time with kids brings a lot of joy and energy into my day. My senior year, I began working at the local YMCA in childcare and in the after-school program, which further grew my love for this field. I am CPR certified in both adult and pediatric care, and I’ve completed training in first aid, AED use, choking response for infants and older children, and identifying signs of child abuse. These experiences taught me the importance of safety, attentiveness, and compassion when working with children of all backgrounds. I believe working with children is more than just a job—it’s a calling God has placed on my heart. I truly believe that being a steady, loving presence in a child’s life reflects the love of Christ.
