Hi! My name is Libby and I have worked with children for 3 and a half years and I am interested in your job offer. I would say the time I've spent with children has been very beneficial and eye opening. In 2017 I worked for City Year Americorps, where I mentored and tutored kids in an inner city school for 11 months. I worked at Brownsville Elementary School, mainly with 4th graders, where I wrote out lesson plans to assist tier 2 students. We participated in multiple school functions and helped organize many events such as field day, talent shows, parties etc. After my time there ended I move back to Jackson, Mississippi in 2018 where I started to work as a teacher at a daycare in Ridgeland, Mississippi called Wee Care Daycare. I worked their for 2 years and filled in a number of positions. I have been Read more a teacher in every room from ages 1 to 12. I moved back to Memphis in 2021! In the past 2 years I have worked at a vet as a boarding manager, so if you've got animals I've got experience in that as well! I currently work at an in-patient facility for at risk youths. I am currently on a job hunt for positions in the Memphis area! I live in midtown with my 2 doggos and am working on my associates degree in social work as a part time student at Southwest Tennessee Community College. I am CPR/AED certified!
