  • Comfortable with pets

In addition to being a kindergarten teacher for 9 years, I've been baby-sitting since I was 13 years old. After a decade of baby-sitting I became a foster parent and moved from watching other people's children to my own fosterlings. Currently I have one beautiful 19 month old daughter of my own who keeps me on my toes. We relocated to Nashville so last year so I could pursue a graduate degree in education at Vanderbilt. I'm addicted to children's books and love crafts and imaginative play. In college I specialized in sitting for large families with anywhere from four to nine children! I'm very organized but also calm and flexible. I've loved children all my life and being back in school I just miss having time to talk with/interact with tiny people!
