I've been babysitting since middle school. I first babysat 5 siblings: infant-age 12. I then was a full-time, summer day nanny for 2 girls - one was still in diapers. I did this for 2 summers. In college, I worked for a kids' aftercare program for a semester and then lived in a home for a summer with a 2-year-old boy & family. I helped take care of him, kept the house clean, & house/pet sat. I still babysit him and house/pet sit at times now. Most recently, I regularly babysit 3 kids Wednesday nights raging from ages 4-9. (I have been with them for years.) I put them to bed, change(d) diapers/pull-ups, help with showers, clean the house, feed them, & more. Also most recently, many of my family members have had babies. When my cousin had hers, I stayed with her for a week taking care of the Read more baby so she could rest. I changed his diaper, applied his ointment for his circumcision, rocked him to sleep, & did whatever Mama needed so she could gain her strength back quickly. I did the same when my sister and her husband had their baby. So I am use to working with newborns! (You can see in my profile pictures that my niece and I have a lot of fun together!) For part of 2017, I worked at Bambini Montessori as a Teacher Assistant. I worked with the babies (4 months) all the way to Elementary (12 years old). I started my own business in 2018 and could not do both jobs. My soon-to-be husband is about to start an internship and I am trying to pick up some extra hours to accommodate this new schedule change. I also am still working on growing my Tuning Business and would love something steady a few days of the week as I keep growing my client list. A little bit about me: I love children. Especially infants to toddlers - though all ages are great! Taking care of young children and helping them develop is such a thrill. When I was nannying those two little girls through the summer, it was incredible as I taught them simple things like how to look both ways when they crossed the street and to not leave their cup too close to the edge else it would fall. I taught them such simple things that us older adults do without even thinking about. It was so eye opening to be a part of their lives in such as way and to help lead/teach them a safer way of living. Also. I am a professional violinist and would always be willing to share music with your child! My friends used to call me Mamasandra in college because I always loved taking care of people and my friends!
