Hi my name is Amanda. I have been working in childcare since 2005. I grew up with 3 older sisters and helped nanny my nephews at an early age. I knew at an early age that childcare was my calling. I recently got married in June 2022. I have a 16 year old named Hector and he is a sophomore in high school with a 3.8 gpa. Now that he is older I am able to return to being a nanny which has always been a dream to me. I have worked in all types of childcare. I have been a nanny before but it’s been a few years . I worked at a drop off childcare at the ymca for many years. I worked two years at an in home daycare, and many years as a lead teacher in a traditional classroom. I was promoted to enrichment teacher recently. Read more I was made mentor teacher at my precious job where I helped other teachers with their classrooms. I have 6 nephews and 4 nieces that I helped raise and care for. I nannied for my sister during my pregnancy with my son and loved the one on one interaction and educational freedom that comes with being a nanny. I love animals so if you have them I am more than comfortable. I have a 14 year old yorkie/mix named Jasper and two cats , Julia and Alyce. I very much want to become part of a family as a nanny . I want to grow and learn and teach your child and watch them grow and learn with me. My hours of operation have opened now that my son is older and can get to and from school. I can proved a list of references both person and professional and have parent references as requested.
