I began my childcare experience when my son was 7 years old and his first grade teacher needed someone to watch her first child. I could be a stay at home mom and still have income for my family. For the next twelve years I provided daycare for several other teacher’s children I my home. I usually had at least two full time and up to four children part time. I enjoyed that time very much and it was the most rewarding “job” I have ever had. Unfortunately, in 2016, I had to give it up.
