Hello! My name is Alexis, a current college student at Austin Peay. I moved down from upstate New York a few months ago, so I’m still adjusting to the Tennessee living! I am majoring in childhood education, and I look forward to getting the opportunity to further my childcare experiences. I grew up with lots of younger cousins and siblings, as well as looking after several child from close friends from all different ages, so I like to think that I have experience! I’m currently employed part-time at TJ Maxx, so I have learned how to develop great communication skills, as well as personal connections. Not to mention, that patience can be really hard to come by when it comes to working retail for several years, but I’ve managed to work through it well, and I will always have a smile on my face!
