I am a highly experienced nanny and preschool teacher, and have been an assistant director and also a camp nurse. I have served as a missionary in Haiti multiple times, and and it has profoundly changed me. I am a native Texan, and originally from San Angelo, Texas. I attended Angelo State University, Texas Tech University, and Collin County Community College majoring in education and received my Child Development Associate certification. I have lived in the DFW area most of my adult life, and some in Austin. I am professional, energetic, organized, and extremely loyal. My work ethic is outstanding, and I give 110% to my career. I have worked with children of all ages from newborns to teenagers. My current nanny family has 4 children that were 6 months, 2 year old twins, and a five year old when I began. I am passionate about educating children, and enjoy watching them thrive and grow into little individuals. Safety is of the utmost importance when they are in my care, and I pride myself on this. I am very creative, and utilize this in planning activities of all kinds. I do feel learning is experienced best through play, with both guided and open ended experiences. I love to be outdoors with children and help them to be active. I am a great swimmer, and used to be a lifeguard as well. Physical activity is very important both for their physical and mental development, along with their health and well being. I love to go on outings and field trips, and am knowledgeable about all the wonderful places to go here in Dallas. All these qualities combined; I feel I am able to give your children what they need to feel loved, secure, and happy while following your wishes for your children.
