I currently work as a full-time nanny for two sweet little girls during the week. I am currently available for weekends/date nights! I graduated from UT Dallas in 2009 with my B.S. in Child Learning & Development and Psychology. I also have an M.S in Social Work. I am currently back in school (I know!) getting a Masters in Education, focusing on Teaching. I have lots of experience with kids - over 10 years babysitting. I've worked as a nanny, camp counselor (Waldemar!), peer mentor, tutor etc. I also feel comfortable doing overnights, working with pets, and light housekeeping duties. I enjoy taking kids on 'outings' to the park, the library, museums - and other kid friendly areas. At home I like to do activities like crafts, easy cooking/baking lessons, building train stations/block towers, reading, singing songs - and lots of interactive child-play!

Charissa filled in with our 16-month-old son while our regular sitter was out of town. She was wonderful! I felt comfortable with her immediately, as did our son. On her third day with us, I accidentally locked her, my son, and our dog out on our patio when I left for work. They were out there for an hour and a half, during which time she was able to flag down a policeman and keep our toddler entertained, while remaining calm! I highly recommend her, and I will definitely use her services again if needed.

Charissa is a very warm and caring person. I felt totally comfortable leaving our daughter in her care. She has a positive attitude and is always punctual. Our whole family adores her! She is the best of the best.

Charissa did AWESOME with my 16 month old son who is not easy or very social. She didn't hesitate to call me when she thought he might be sick and I really apprecitated that. My son liked her so much that he ran to hug her legs when she was leaving! We look forward to having her keep him again. :)
