I love kids but do not have any of my own. I love working with children and young adults and helping them navigate this difficult life. While I do not have any full time nanny experience, I have been a mentor to kids before and volunteered with after school reading and writing programs for kids who are behind at least one grade level in school in the areas of reading and/or writing. I am a chiropractor and am well trained in the medical and first aid field. I maintain CPR and BLS credentials and have treated and cared for many, many young people and middle school and high school athletes in my 7 year chiropractic career. I also have a masters in nutrition and love cooking, baking, and making healthy meals and snacks. I am good with all types of pets - I grew up on a small farm with Read more goats, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, birds, and lizards. I also love to clean and organize. I can help children with homework and/or their schooling from home. As a child, I personally attended private schools, public schools, was homeschooled, and attended a boarding school, so I am very familiar with all types of schooling situations. My husband is in the Army, and we are being stationed at Ft. Gordon and plan on living in the Evans area. While I am still a practicing chiropractor and nutritionist, I am looking for a change of pace and a job that is less hard on my body physically, but where I can still help influence the lives of others.
