Hi there! My name is David and I have been working with children ages 0-5 full-time for the past 10 years. Most of this experience was spent working in a preschool classroom, but I also have experience as a full-time nanny, preschool office manager, and preschool facilities coordinator. I have been babysitting for families in the evenings and weekends about 15 hours per week for the past 7 years. I have experience doing school drop-off and pick-up, as well as caring for kids multiple days and nights while their parents were out of town. I have done this for 4 different families. I also have experience working with twins and triplets. I only utilize screen time if the parents have decided upon it ahead of time, otherwise it’s not something I incorporate into babysitting. I would rather play games, do art, legos, read books, build forts out of pillows and Read more blankets, etc. I’m very safety conscious and very much “by the book”. If the parents have a specific plan for the night then that’s what will happen. I’m a light hearted and funny person and focus on helping kids see the positive in life, regardless of the situation. I’m not afraid to laugh, dance, sing, or do funny voices for puppets or story characters. I’m very patient and compassionate. Serving families has been my greatest privilege and I absolutely love it! I also have fantastic references!
