I have been working in childcare for fourteen years. Beginning as a babysitter/nanny and working in my church nursery. Later I worked for a non-profit organization as an after school program director and camp director. For the last three years I have been a teacher in a toddler classroom. I am passionate about education and love help little ones express themselves through art. I have maintained my CPR/First Aid and water safety certification for the entirety of my childcare career. I am currently working on my Child Development Associates Degree and luckily my past employment has required me to complete coursework applied to newborn, toddler, and school-aged care and development. Still I would have to say I have learned the most about children from raising my son, who will be seven years old this summer.
