My younger brother and I are about 10 years apart, so I got to play a fun role in watching him grow up. I've always felt very responsible and protective of him since I was the one watching over him and running him places most of the time. He likes to remind me that I am "Big sister" not "Mom #2." I began babysitting as a young teen as a way to earn money for those super cool neon colored skinny jeans or going out to movies with friends. However, I quickly fell in love with it. I offered to babysit for several of my family members and family friends over the years. I worked at a "playcare" in Plano for children ranging in ages from infant to preteen which was super fun! Before I could officially begin working there, I needed to go through child care training, so I Read more am CPR certified. I also worked as a housekeeper at Holidays Inn two summers ago, so I am not opposed to light housework. I am a firm believer in love and compassion, and I make it evident in my work. I also understand the importance of reliability and amount of trust that goes into hiring a babysitter; It is my duty to assure you that your child is in good hands.
