I graduated from Texas State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance Education. I am currently in the process of receiving my alternative certification in Dance through Texas Teachers. I have been labeled as “highly qualified” within this process. My past experience includes substitute teacher for Lake Travis ISD and Leander ISD; Creative Director of PAIYH Dance Studio in Bee Caves; working with younger children to include swim lessons; child care; and full time camp counselor with children from ages younger than a year to 16 years. My very first job as a 14-year-old was baby-sitting, where I fell in love with working with kids and the development of children at a very young age. I have had much experience with child care, teaching, including swim lessons for children as young as 1.5 years to 14 years. In my previous role as daytime nanny to Read more a busy family of 2 wonderful children (8 months old and 3 years old) in San Marcos, TX where I also took classes toward my degree, I learned how difficult and rewarding it can be to manage the varying needs and requirements of children in all different stages of development and age. I am an extremely active person, where nature and being outdoors is my favorite place to be, where I also believe is an effective place for children to be as well. I am committed to providing a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for all children in my care. Safety is extremely important and something I take very seriously, and am trained and certified in first-aid and CPR. I have great communication and organization skills in which I believe are the most important skills for a nanny to have. I love children of all ages, and enjoy the company immensely. I find nothing is more rewarding than taking care of them. I believe in always providing a safe, happy, positive and creative environment for children to easily thrive and grow in.
