I've been caring for kiddos ranging from newborn to teen for about eleven years now. Throughout those years I've worked with over twenty families in addition to daycare assistance and event assistance. My experiences have ranged from the occasional date night, to full time - live in nanny and personal assistant. Outside of childcare, I've worked with kids as an assistant elementary school teacher, volunteered in nurseries, programs for children with various disabilities, youth ministry, and much more. Most recently I worked as an intern at a counseling center for grieving children and absolutely loved it. In the long run I hope to pursue counseling, but for now I'm working my way through school and internships and spending time with families like yours. I am prompt, hard working, empathetic, fun-loving, and, organized. I love doing crafts, getting kids outside/walking the neighborhood with a stroller, exploring fun places, and playing games. Read more I also love dogs! So no worries if you have furry members in your family. I have my own Airedale that means the world to me and have house sat plenty of family pets over the years. All in all, I love this job and am very comfortable doing it. I treat each kiddo like family and do my best to respect your own parenting style and values. I live near the domain and am currently seeking a part-time family in the area or date-nights.
