I have 17 years of experience as a professional Nanny/Family Assistant. I've had the pleasure of working with large families as well as first time parents. Over the last couple decades my experience alone has molded me into a person who's aligned with the Montessori approach and I've seen firsthand how incredible that can be to a child who needs autonomy and some control over their lives. I've done extensive traveling with nearly all my previous families and I hope to continue doing so! I've done long road trips as well as both long and short domestic and international trips. I've enjoyed all of them immensely. As a family assistant I've kept entire homes running by keeping things stocked, organized, I've helped with pet care, kept vehicles up to date on maintenence, ran errands, house sitting, packing/unpacking for trips, meal prep/cooking, homework help, managed housekeepers and babysitters, school and social calenders, shopping (grocery and clothes) for kids, I've cooked for vegans as well as allergy sensitive children who require epi-pens to be carried with us at all times.
