As an older sister to two younger siblings, I began babysitting at the age of 12. As I got older I found out that babysitting was a job that I loved doing and was also good at. I continued to watch my siblings all throughout high school and started to watch their friends as well. I then became a weekend nanny for a close family friend. I traveled with them on the weekends if needed and also helped out with meal preparations and household cleaning. When I moved away for college, I took a break from babysitting and nannying, but as I got older and my friends started to have kids of their own, I was the first person in line to watch their little ones.
