Musically inclined nanny with over a decade of caregiving experience seeking a new family to support! Relating to children has always come naturally for me, even when I was a tween/teen myself. Anytime there was a gathering, all the babies, toddlers, and pets would end up sticking right by my side. Even the shy, cautious souls would allow me to befriend them. My family and neighbors would always comment about it, and told me that I had such a way with kids and animals. I began babysitting and pet-sitting as a young teen, and officially became a professional nanny just over 11 years ago. In addition to caregiving, I am also performing musician who sings and plays several instruments. I try to constantly incorporate music into daily activities and routines, just like a modern day Mary Poppins! I am also an avid painter, and gardener, enjoy hiking, jogging and swimming, Read more am a voracious reader, and enjoy crafts, and always learning something new. It is the greatest joy to offer loving guidance to a young person; to watch them grow and learn and explore new ideas. The world is full of challenges and difficulties, and I do my best to model healthy habits, emotional regulation, non-violent communication, positive reinforcement, respect and consideration for all. Before Covid I worked part-time as a substitute guide at a Montessori school, and am interested in furthering my education in the Montessori method as well as other modalities.
