Hi, I'm Niko! I earned my Bachelors of Liberal Arts from the University of Texas at Austin in 2019. I have cared for children professionally for seven years. Throughout my career, I have worked as a babysitter, summertime nanny, activity specialist, and, most recently, teaching artist. I have experience with special needs including Autism, learning disabilities, ADHD, and anxiety. I love crafts, swimming, animals, art, and learning. Some of my core values are authenticity, compassion, kindness, communication, and equality. I began working as a babysitter for preschool-elementary aged children in high school, taught an after school care program freshman year, then relocated to attend the University of Texas at Austin. Since graduating, I found I increasingly missed working with kids. I now work with Kinder and 1st graders as a teaching artist for Creative Action, a wonderful nonprofit.
