I am currently an educator with a certificate in English Language and Reading for grades 7-12. Since my senior year of high school I have been working with kids nonstop. For about a year and a half I was a nanny for a 3 year-old. I loved playing, dancing, and preparing food for the baby. After that, most of my work with kids was specifically in schools with programs such as Breakthrough Central Texas, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area, Austin ISD, and UTeach-Liberal Arts. I pride myself in being a calming presence in the midst of chaos; especially with children. If you set the example for children, they will remember that just because things aren't going well, we just have to breathe. Like my favorite Disney quote, "Just keep swimming"!
