Hi! I'm a student at Wellesley College studying Education and English taking a year off to work and help take care of my mom. I'm looking to work around 25-40 hours a week. I've babysat regularly for the past five years for families with children from 1-7 years old. During the academic year, I work at the Wellesley Community Children's Center as a daycare teacher. I've worked there for two years and primarily care for children 3-5 years old. I'm certified by the state of Massachusetts's early education and care department as a childcare provider. I currently work as a shift lead at a health food restaurant. Through both of these jobs, I've become very comfortable cooking and especially preparing food safely for people with allergies. I'm extremely organized and pride myself on being a self-starter. I work well in fast-paced environments. I love being around people and consider myself Read more to be an extrovert. People have always praised me for my calming yet playful nature, empathy, and ability to regulate the emotions of others. I've taken multiple classes at Wellesley on early education and child development. I've also worked in elementary classrooms through the Wellesley Education department as well as in high school through the PALS program where I mentored elementary schoolers.
