Hello family, my name is Andrea, I'm 26 years old and I'm new in Austin. I am an active, creative person who enjoys working with children. Before moving to Austin with my husband, I had the opportunity to be an Au Pair for a wonderful family for a year in Oahu, HI. As an Au Pair, I worked for a single mother in the Army and took care of a 6-year-old girl and 9-year-old twins. Among my responsibilities were carrying out the children's morning routine for school, driving and picking up the kids from school and other activities, keeping the children's rooms tidy and clean, food and school lunch preparation, supervising children after school, helping the children with their homework, grocery shopping for the family, indoor and outdoor play, and organizing creative activities and educational games for my host kids. Additionally, I gained experience working as a babysitter for children Read more aged 2 to 5 for other military families in Hawaii and Wisconsin when I moved from the island. As an extra note, I have a background in education, as I worked for 3 years as an English teacher in a primary school in Mexico, where I gained extensive experience in childcare as I was directly in charge of two groups of 20 children each daily, aged 5-12.
