Hi I'm Alexa and I love kids! I was an athlete throughout my whole life up until I started going to school at Old Dominion University. I love participating in sports as well as working out 4-5 days per week. I worked part time at a local animal hospital as a veterinarian's assistant throughout high school and babysat regularly for 3 families throughout my years at ODU. In total, I have over 10 years of babysitting experience for all ages. My first job was as a lifeguard for 3 years at my community pool so I was trained in CPR and first aid. Right now I am an animal handler at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park and just completed my Master's online from Texas A&M in wildlife science. I miss working with children and am looking for a part-time babysitting job. I look forward to hearing from you!

Alexa was great with the kids we had for our meeting. She was professional, dealt with the children in a very respectfully manner, and she was able to help with short notice. I would defintiely recommend Alexa for anyone needing childcare. You wouldn't be disappointed.

Alexa came on short notice, was on time, and instantly engaged with our two kids. There would normally be a few tears and "don't go!"s from our kids when we leave, but they barely waved as we walked out the door! They were happy and in bed when we got home, and they both said they'd love for Alexa to watch them again.

Alexa is an awesome sitter! She played and talked with our kids right away. The kids could not stop talking about her when we got home. Even our 3 dogs liked her. She reponds back quickly and we will definetly be using her again.

I was very impressed with Alexa. She came to our house early and was more than patient with me fumbling around to remember everything to tell her. Our dog is normally very wary of strangers but Alexa right away, showed her attention as well making a calm atmosphere. She made sure that the kids we well entertained and had fun. When we got home my daughter was upset that we came back so soon. Alexa definitely went above and beyond with watching our kids and handled our 3 kids very well. My oldest keeps asking when we can leave again so Alexa can come back.
