I have been working with children since I was a young teenager. I babysat family friends children. When i had kids of my own, i wanted to find a job where i could have them close to me. My first childcare job as an adult was as childcare lead in a drop in care for ages 6 weeks-12 years. After there, I was a 2 year old teacher at a small STEAM oriented preschool. For the last year and a half, i have been an in-home nanny and teacher for a family with two children. They will be starting school in the fall, and i will be looking for new children to teach and help nourish and grow. In my current role, we started with learning ABC's and numbers, shapes, potty training, manners, and some science. They are 3 and 4 and can now read at a kindergarten level, count Read more to 30, add and subtract to 10, and recognize numbers up to 100. They are potty trained, eat at the table properly, get themselves dressed, and use manners to ask for things politely. They know their shapes, an exceptional amount of animal species for their age, and many plants, among other things. With the right encouragement, and making a game out of any lesson, I can have your kids excelling in no time as well!
