I was a lead teacher for toddlers and later 4&5yr olds at two preschools in SanAntonio for 7 yrs. After that, I have been a nanny for a family with a newborn, 9 and 11 yr old. I had a daughter and stayed at home to raise her. Now, she is in college and I returned to my nanny career which I love. Recently, I have worked for a family with an elderly woman and her 2 and 4 yr old grgranddaughters, then until June of 2016: my family had a newborn and a two year old. They gave me a reference on Care.com. My full background check was also performed and although it expires yearly, I had it printed for review. I believe in hands on interaction with children. Engaging them in many experiences from music , art projects, cooking, experiments, dress up or exploring outside. I love reading Read more and like that to be a part of our day. Encouraging children to bring out the best in themselves and exposing them to lots of experiences with hands on fun and sharing is probably my guideline. I love animals and don't mind being with them. I would not work in a smoking household.
