Hello everyone! I recently graduated from Grambling State University with a Bachelors in Social Work and am now pursing a MSW at the University of Texas at Arlington! My goal is to open and own a group home for troubled youth. I've recently interned at Union Bee Head Start program where I was taught how to not only monitor children but to teach them in creative ways. I have held jobs at 2 different day care centers working with infants up to the age of 6! I've also held a position at the Louisiana Methodist Childrens home working with adolescents. Her references were sketchy but i decided against my better judgement and met with her anyway, she was very pleasant upon meeting and seemed enthused about the position, However on the day she was suppose to start she stood me up, Never called never canceled, nothing.
