Hi, I'm Carolyn:) I'm a mother of 4 adult children, and nana to 8 grandchildren:) I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development. And I've worked as a substitute teacher's assistant in primarily special needs classrooms, a role I was comfortable with having grown up with a special needs sister. What sets me apart is my rather calm demeanor. I have been referred to as the baby whisperer, and seem to have a natural calming effect on children. And even though there is a gentleness about me, I'm also able to command respect. Oh yes and one more thing:) One of my favorite things to do with children is to read with them (or to them).
