With over fifteen years of experience in teaching and childcare, I bring a unique blend of skills to the table. My background as a military medic, serving 12.5 years in the US Army National Guard/US Army Reserves, has instilled in me a strong sense of safety and discipline. This, combined with my certifications such as SAMA and TBRI, and my experience as a licensed foster parent since 2021, equips me to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children of all ages and backgrounds. My education and experience are specifically geared towards supporting child development and working with children with special needs. I have a solid foundation from my time in the classroom, and my role as a parent to two toddlers with ASD further deepens my understanding.
