I am recent graduate from Southern Methodist University, I graduated SMU with a major in Sociology and a minor in Education. With this minor I graduated highly qualified with a Texas Teachers Certificate. Throughout my university experience I have worked hands-on with a variety of students, PreK-5th grades, in inner-city schools including - regular education, special needs, homeless, and ESL bilingual. During my last semester I was in a first grade classroom and was given full responsibilities of all students, their learning and planning. Along with my educational experience I was a member of the SMU Woman's Track & Field team for all four years. I am loving, caring and very outgoing. My love for children has shown through my perseverance into becoming a teacher, and my passion toward impacting the lives of the children I have the chance to work with.
