I have over 3 and a half years of experience as a Registered Behavior Technician working directly with children with autism and other disabilities, in both the home and clinic settings. As someone with extensive experience working one-on-one with children with special needs, my strengths include empathy, patience, creative play skills, and behavior management. (If your child is nonverbal, I also know some basic sign language and can easily navigate an AAC device with your child if needed.) My passion and love for children is formed largely by my Christian values- as a deeply religious person, I would love to work with a family who shares the same Christ-centered family values as I do! One of my favorite quotes is by an author named C.S. Lewis: "Since it is so likely that children will meet cruel enemies, let them at least have heard of brave knights and heroic courage."
