Hi parents! My name is Kiera McNeill, and I am looking for a nanny position. I am a 26 year old native of West Plano with 10+ years of childcare experience who recently moved back to Dallas in the Preston Hollow area (75230). I got my bachelors in Business Economics from the University of San Diego in 2019 and worked in contract formation for the Navy for a couple years before I decided that I wanted to be back near family again! I am looking to be part of the support system for a family and build genuine connections to help your children grow. I like to listen to children and want to advocate for their communication and boundaries. I learned in Montessori schools growing up and believe in child-led play time and learning. I was a competitive figure skater and coached children in the age group of 4-9 years at the Dr. Pepper Starcenter McKinney in high school and summers back from college. I love to be outside in the sun, and I believe the playground or riding bikes is a great way to prepare for a nap! I also love animals (have a cat and dog at home) and don’t mind helping care for them. I am neat and discreet, helpful in cleaning, and have been preparing meals for my family since I was 13 after studying with a nutritionist. I grew up babysitting in high school for neighbors, and was a nanny for children from the ages of 6 months to 13 years in college in Preston Hollow and San Diego. These families would be happy to provide a reference that I am reliable, honest, and kind. My hobbies include seeing live music and comedy, yoga, and rollerblading. My time availability is currently very open, so please reach out about full time or part time scheduling if you think that we would be a fit. I am available for pickup and drop off and drive a Toyota Highlander with current license and insurance. My rate is $20-25/hour and negotiable based on care needs.
