I am a Dedicated, Loving, FUN Nanny/Sitter who is extremely responsible, reliable & mature (YET YOUTHFUL!) with extensive experience in all facets of childcare. I seek a position with a commitment of whatevers needed, its important to have open communication between myself and the parent(s). My “nannying” style is nurturing, loving, playful and very hands on. Whether its playing on the floor, encouraging "tummytime" for infants, reading books to or listening to/playing music, playing with all kinds of toys, dolls, games, legos, puzzles, blocks etc….. Imaginary play/pretending, many enriching activities. I believe in teaching through play - learning colors, shapes, ABC's etc..... It makes for a fun & creative learning experience. Stimulation without over stimulating - in addition to encouraging some important independent play/quiet time. Arranging playdates, planning outings, taking walks, exploring outdoors, “getting dirty”, being busy, busy!! Going to the library for story time or attending an activity class. I am always focused on the children's needs, being consistent with how the parents expect things to be/following their lead-childcare style. Children thrive on continuity and stability, it gives them their much needed sense of security, well being and love. I am quite confident in my ability to care for children, especially little ones. Always calm, endless patience, having fun, being silly, using a soothing voice to reassure with lots of giggles, cuddling, hugs & smiles! I consider myself an articulate, sensible, educated, organized, conscientious, trustworthy, sincere person who is engaging, & easygoing.
