I am a 28 year old married female who is trying to save up money to go back to school and finish my degree in Art and Technology (Game Design and Production). In my spare time, I play video games, read, and do DIY around the house. I read every day, usually completing a new book every 1-3 days. Growing up, I had a caregiver whom was like a superhero to me. From elementary until high school, she stayed with me and my siblings and supports myself and my family for major events. When I was in high school 2010-2011, I babysat a family with three young children in elementary and preschool. From 2012-2015 I helped babysit multiple families children ages 2-5 on some weekdays and most weekends. Lastly in 2016, I watched one of my good friends toddlers for six months while her mother went to work and school. Read more Since I am not a professional babysitter or nanny I am flexible on rates as long as they are fair. I do not feel comfortable with infants at this moment in time, but am willing to try as I am good with toddlers. I grew up in a household with a child who had special needs as well as helped with friends siblings whom also had similar needs. I am adept at understanding and keeping patient with children who have emotional and mental needs. If you have any other special requests or needs that must be met, I will try my best to learn and adapt to whatever the child/children need. I would love to become a full time nanny for a family, similar to how I was brought up. Preferably Mon-Fri any time and some weekends when needed. Babysitters come and go but I believe a good nanny can leave a lasting impression on children for years to come.
