Hi I'm Sarah! I am 28 years old and have had the pleasure of babysitting and caring for children for over 13 years. Most of the families i have helped had three or more children. I am comfortable with infants as well as special needs children. I have an adopted special needs sister who is hearing impaired and has a feeding tube and i have helped with her care for the last five years until i was married this past May. I also have been a regular volunteer in the church nursery. During my teen years, I also volunteered at our local YMCA helping out with Pee-Wee sports and pre-school classes. Being outdoors with and kids and letting them run off their energy was fun and very rewarding. When i was 16, my parents became foster parents and i was very involved in helping care for each child that was Read more placed with our family. I as a pro at putting cribs and toddler beds together as well as buying and organizing clothes in assorted sizes so we would be ready for emergency placements. I have had experience with nebulizers, feeding pumps and G-Buttons. At 18, I took a Red Cross Life Guarding class as well as a CPR class. Caring for children has been an important part of my life for many years and i certainly enjoy the challenges as well as the rewards that come with training, nurturing and loving little ones.
