Recently moved to the Dallas area, due to my husband's job. Sadly, I had to leave a 5-year-old, who I had taken care of since he was a little over 6 weeks old. I have been a Nanny for almost 20 years. What started out as a college Spring Break job, ended up being what I was destined to do. I have helped 8 families raise their children and feel very satisfied with how they have turned out.

I am not too happy writing a review for Veronica but she left us in a situation that being a mature human being she should have informed in a better way. We were out on vacation and she sent an email subject "Notice" " I am sorry, however, I have decided that I am not able to continue in your employment, therefore I will no be coming to work on Monday. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you." I don't think she really cared about inconvenience my family would face by sending this email. My husband and I work full-time and she was aware that we have critical projects at work. In a previous occasion, actually Monday before she sent the notice email, she called in sick at 8 am whereas her work time is 8:30, she could have sent message night before so we could have made backup plan. She sent the notice email on Nov. 6th but I am writing this review on Nov 16th, giving her time to re-think about her decision. I replied to her email and sent her text but there has been no communication since then. Another thing we felt, she exhibited very less control over the kids and did not discipline them much. If there was a situation to quit the work, it could have been done in a better way!!
