I just spent the last year (2017) teaching English to young students abroad in Asia as a Fulbright Grant recipient. Fulbright is the U. S.'s flagship international exchange program. Before Fulbright I graduated from St. Edward's University as a NCAA athlete and Pre-Physical Therapy major in May 2016. I then moved back home to Fort Worth, and worked as a full-time Physical Therapy Tech. Working with kids is my favorite hobby! It's why I went half way across the world to do it, and why I worked at a youth summer camp as a counselor + leadership role for 4 years straight for ages 5-18 (Camp Balcones Springs). My soccer/study schedule typically didn't allow for a consistent part time job, so I took on various sitting positions throughout high school and college. I was sitting for a family in Austin before I left to start my grant, and also sat Read more for a single mom for 12 hrs every 3 days (firefighters have irregular schedules).
