I've always loved children, watching them grow up, become their own unique person and getting to know their interests and personalities. I'm a recreation therapist by trade and I believe children learn best through play and the positive examples in their lives. I love to engage with children of all ages and use every opportunity I can to teach new skills. I love arts and crafts and being outside, as well as making up games and fun activities with things the average person may find boring. I have about 10 years of experience in caring for children from infants to teenagers. Most recently, I've been working with kids and young adults with physical and cognitive disabilities as well as children with behavioral concerns such as those related to Autism and ADHD.
