Hi Texas families! My name is Amanda and I’ve recently relocated to the DFW area from Michigan. As the oldest of 4 siblings I have always been mommy’s little helper with a caring and nurturing spirit that comes naturally. I started my childcare journey in high school by babysitting for family, friends and neighbors throughout the summer and on weekends. I then got myself through college by nannying for a family with infant twins. Upon graduation with a degree in healthcare, I was able to stay on full time with the family and work part time in a medical facility. I then went on a hiatus and traveled with my husband for his job. Upon returning to the work force, I nannied for a few other families over the next few years. I then returned to the medical field due to the need for essential workers during the pandemic. As an active, outgoing, bubbly and eccentric person, I thrive in creating a fun and engaging environment conducive to child growth and development. I have 5 years of experience, an exceptional driving record and clean criminal background. I am CPR certified with an education in healthcare. I work well in fast paced, structured environments. I am a quick learner, have great time management and multitasking skills. I am extremely organized, have exceptional communication (written and verbal) and am meticulous about sticking to a schedule. It is vital that I find a family who is looking for a long term commitment. Becoming an extended part of a family as I play a role in the lives of your children.
