Samantha started with us for a trial on a Tuesday and we absolutely loved her. We offered her the position at the end of the day and she wanted a day to get back to us. After being with us the next day on Wednesday, she seemed excited for the position and agreed to care for our kids full time. Thursday evening, after a full day with our kiddos, she messaged saying she can no longer work with our family due to our 3 year old misbehaving. Personally if this concern was brought to my attention during work hours I would have disciplined my son and diffused the situation. My son was getting adjusted to a new person being around therefore was acting out of the norm. Though Samantha was wonderful I would not recommend her due to the reasoning if kids are hard to handle, she may give up and not be reliable. It’s such a bummer because I was excited to have her around my family and turned down really good candidates for the position upon finding her. Giving her 3 stars versus 2 because she was punctual and at least communicated and did not ghost us.
