I have been a volunteer mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters for over ten years and currently serve on the Big Brothers Big Sisters Junior Board. I have watched children pretty much most of my life. I am the oldest of 3 and I helped babysit my siblings after school and on the weekends. I helped my sister with my nephew from newborn-age 8 picking him up from school, watching him on weekends, helping w/homework, etc. I've also worked for home based day care centers during college. I also babysit and tutor for my 1-yr old nephew, 5-yr old niece, 10-yr old niece and a friend's 4-yr old daughter. I have been a Big in the Big Brother Big Sister program for the past 11 years. I currently tutor K- 12 students.
